Lagos is a historic and beautiful city, located in the stunning western area of the Algarve. We like to think of Lagos as a mash up of the traditional Eastern Algarve, the touristic Central Algarve and the historic Western Algarve. It is a city that has everything.

There are ancient Moorish walls, a 17th century fort and extravagant Baroque churches to explore as well as the modern marina complex where you can while away the hours watching the boats go by. To the south of Lagos is the Ponta da Piedade headland, a series of weathered cliffs that are lined with spectacular grottos, arches, sea caves and are regarded as the finest natural feature of the Algarve.
In terms of property in Lagos you will find a mixture of apartments, townhouses and villas to choose from. There is a mixture of options in condominiums as well as stand alone properties.
Even on the western side of the Algarve golf still features highly. In and around Lagos there are a number of golf complexes which attract golfers throughout the year – Parque da Floresta and Boa Vista Golf and Spa are the two main ones.
